Financial Decision Making for Physiotherapy

Add to wish list

Read the numbers that drive your clinic's health.

Designed exclusively for physiotherapists who run or operate clinics, rehabilitation centers, or independent practices and want to "read", "control", "build confidence in" the financial side of their work. Every concept is taught through real physiotherapy practice scenarios — not generic corporate finance theory — so you leave with frameworks you can apply to your clinic the same week. Taught by Dr. Karim Elfaham, Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance at AASTMT and Co-Founder & Lead Financial Consultant at Big Move Consultancy, with a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wales, UK and 18+ years of teaching and consulting experience.

For:

Clinic Owner

Running a clinic but unsure where the money goes, how to price sessions and packages, or whether you're actually profitable.

Clinic Manager

Responsible for the daily financial performance of a physiotherapy clinic and wanting to master budgeting, cost control, and reporting to ownership.

Aspiring Practice Owner

Planning to open a clinic, add a new branch, or invest in equipment, and wanting a financial framework before committing your savings.

Senior Physiotherapist

Leading clinical teams or rehabilitation departments where financial decisions land on your desk, and wanting to make them with clarity.

The Opportunity

01

Most clinic owners can't read their own P&L

Financial statements shouldn't feel like a foreign language. This course gives you the confidence to read income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports — and finally understand where your clinic's money actually goes.

02

Cashflow kills clinics that are otherwise thriving

Knowing your real cost per session, cost per package, and true profit margins is the difference between a clinic that looks busy and one that's actually profitable.

03

Pricing is guesswork without financial grounding

From evaluating new equipment to hiring decisions and opening a second branch, you'll leave with simple ROI frameworks for the investment decisions that shape your practice's future.

Dr. Karim Elfaham

Dr. Karim Elfaham

Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance, AASTMT | Co-Founder & Lead Financial Consultant, Big Move Consultancy Dr. Karim Elfaham has spent 18 years teaching finance and accounting at university level and advising business owners on the decisions that determine whether a practice grows or stalls. He holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wales, UK, and supervises master's and doctoral research in finance. Through Big Move Consultancy he leads feasibility studies, business valuations, and financial transformation engagements for owner-managed businesses across healthcare, manufacturing, agribusiness, and professional services — the same class of decisions clinic owners face: what a service really costs, whether an investment pays back, and what the business is worth to a partner or buyer. He built this programme on one principle: clinic owners don't need accounting theory, they need the three or four numbers that drive their practice and the confidence to act on them.
